Tracy is an animal lover who has spent her life surrounded by dogs, cats and a variety of other animals. As a dog owner, she saw how stressful it was for her dogs whenever she would take them to get groomed. The travel, the long day by themselves and being crated until they were picked up all lead to a lot of strain and tension on her dogs.
Tracy began to think of ways to make grooming a more pleasant experience, not only for her dog, but all dogs. While being aware of mobile groomers, who groom their clients in vehicles, Tracy thought about taking it one step further: into the client's home. Thus began in the DOGHOUSE.
Tracy went to the Pets Beautiful Grooming School and received an Honours Certificate in Professional Dog Grooming. Her other qualifications and experiences are:
Tracy takes great pride in her work and she treats all of her clients with the utmost care. She knows how uncomfortable dogs can be while being groomed and she uses her training and kind nature to make the experience a pleasant one. While dogs don't usually enjoy the grooming process, Tracy ensures that her clients are both relaxed and squeaky clean.
Her familiarity with the different breeds allows her to know which cut and style suits an individual dog. Unlike other groomers, she won't just shave a dog down. She takes the time to make sure her clients have a cut that suits their type of fur and will leave them feeling great. In addition to grooming, Tracy sees to it that paws and ears are cleaned and nails are adequately clipped.
Tracy has extended her love for animals to her other services. In addition to her mobile grooms, she also offers clients dog walking, dog training and pet (cat and dog) sitting. Please see our services page for further details of all of the services currently offered.
